The Architectural Review Committee (ARC) consists of a chairperson and volunteer team members, all residents, and active members of the Garrison Ridge Homeowners Association. Each Homeowner is required to submit plans for review prior to start of construction and submittal to CMA.

The ARC is responsible to review all construction, addition, and revision drawings prior to issuance and commencement of construction in Garrison Ridge. All revisions/additions to structures, finishes, landscape changes, and pool additions to homes in Garrison Ridge. This is to protect the investment and integrity of Garrison Ridge and hopefully improves the resell value of homes.

The ARC reviews submitted drawings for design compatibility with surrounding homes and Garrison Ridge in general. This is not a rubber stamp approval process and on occasions submitted plans may take several revisions before the ARC gives approval. In most cases, the review process takes only a few days provided that all information is included and no revisions are requested.

No exterior construction, alteration or addition of any improvements of any nature whatsoever should take place without prior approval from the ARC. As several of you have pointed out, there are violations that we will address very soon. We have plans to make an ARC approved sign to show everyone when a project has been approved.

Please keep in mind that the homeowner is responsible for compliance with the covenants. Any improvements not approved by the ARC could result in additional costs to the homeowner for any corrections.
